The Product


What is VtWeb?

VtWeb is a "Plug In" for Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer that allows communications with Digital, Unix and Wang host systems.

How does VtWeb work?

You create a html document, i.e. web page, with the appropriate configuration information, such as host address, font size and window height/width. When your browser accesses this web page VtWeb is loaded and you are connected to your host system.

Do I need a WebServer to use VtWeb?

No. The web page can be local on the personal computer.

Do I have to change anything on my host system?

No host system changes are required. The host thinks it's communicating with a VT or Wang terminal.

What terminals does VtWeb emulate?

VtWeb emulates the Digital VT52, VT100, VT101, VT102, VT125, VT131, VT220, VT320, VT420 and Wang 2110A.

Do I have all the features of a terminal?

Yes, plus copy/paste, hot-keys, local printing, print redirection, full color support and scripting for automatic logon's.

What are the requirements for VtWeb?

You need Netscape Navigator 3.0 or Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 a telnet connection to your host system and Windows 95, Windows NT or a Power Macintosh.

How much is VtWeb?

VtWeb is licensed software and is available for a 30 day FREE evaluation period.

The commerical price is $34.95 per copy.

Ok, it sounds good how do I get VtWeb?

Select VtWeb32 (version 2.0.4, 11/16/2001) to obtain the Windows version and VtWebPPC (v 0.8.0) to obtain the Macintosh version.
